Had to go to my favorite yarn shop.
Oh woe.
And buy the yarn I needed ...
to finish only the toes.

Here it is!
The Regia - Stripe as You Knit - Sock!

I knit the cuffs in a k2p2 ribbing for eight inches ...
(These are going to only be 7-cause I've already used
yarn to knit a pair of Bebe' socks from these - which
are for sale H-E-R-E )

Then I'll knit the foot for nine inches - and finish the
toes, which adds an additional 2 or 3 inches.

I started this pair on January 31 - Saturday - it's
Wednesday a.m. and I've almost finished BOTH cuffs!



I have other knitting projects I aspire to do in the coming
days - but, my true goal is to knit up the yarn I already have
on hand! To be a good steward, you know?

I've got 2 more skeins of yarn for socks in particular.
An amazing amount of mohair for scarves, some acrylic mix for
afghans and such and even a bit of wool for mittens!

Well, I'm really rambling here ....

OH .... and I stated previously the socks took me 9.5 hours to knit?
That calculation was for ONE sock! So, it's 19 hours per PAIR!!!
